Drive to Nimbin....
Everyone does is, apparently 80% of visitor to the region go to Nimbin. On the way check out Eltham
Valley Pantry, ideal place to stop for brunch or a cuppa, and do the pecan pie, best in the country.
See
When you get to Nimbin call into the visitor information centre and check out what's happening.
On the way back call into Dragon Fly Cafe Lismore, See here for address (google map link) Other things of interest in Lismore is their gallery walk, details are available from the Visitor Information Centre at the corner of Molesworth St and Ballina Rd Lismore.
Brunswick Heads....
Located a quick 15 min drive north of Byron Bay Brunswick Heads appears to be missed by developers. It's a quiet small seaside town at the mouth of the Brunswick River. The marina has a great fish co-op and ideal to pick up some great fresh seafood. For a good meal hit the Bruns pub, it does the best meals around town. On you way there or on your way home call into Mullumbimby and have a walk around this great little alternative town. Mullumbimby.
